About This Event
The Fraser Valley Throwdown returns to the Richmond Olympic Oval on September 26–27, 2026: two days of functional fitness competition for individuals, trios, teens and masters, at RX, Intermediate and Scaled. New this season, the Series Showdown workout is repeated at FVT, BVT and OVT so athletes can compare scores across the series.

The Fraser Valley Throwdown returns for another unforgettable weekend of competition, community, and high-energy functional fitness.
Hosted at the iconic Richmond Olympic Oval, FVT brings together athletes from across Western Canada for a live competition experience built for every level. Whether it’s your first event or your fiftieth, you’ll find a division that challenges you, a crowd that supports you, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back.
This is more than a competition. It’s a weekend built around effort, progress, and the people you train beside every day.
New for the 26/27 Season
The Throwdown Series now includes:
• Fraser Valley Throwdown (FVT)
• Bow Valley Throwdown (BVT)
• Okanagan Valley Throwdown (OVT)
New this season, SERIES SHOWDOWN: one workout will be repeated across all three events, giving athletes the opportunity to compare performances across the series.
Athletes competing in multiple events can improve their score each time they complete the workout throughout the season.
At the conclusion of OVT, the top overall performer in each division across the series will receive a season award.

EVENT ATHLETE CAP: 200 INDIVIDUALS and 40 TRIOS
New Teen Rec Division
Debuting after a successful launch at OVT, the Teen Rec Division is designed for athletes ages 13–17 looking for a stepping stone into the competition environment.
This division focuses on creating a supportive and exciting first competition experience for newer teen athletes.

Built for All Levels
Movement standards are tailored to each division with clear expectations so athletes can compete in the right environment for their abilities and goals.
